So I had my lyric for 3 hours, and I think I managed to break the QR mechanism (Turn it while flipped closed) . :cursing:

So I checked, CRC is out of stock:

Now where would I find one?

I was also wondering, would one of the following axles work? Which is a bit more idiot proof? They say however 35mm, while the light is 32mm..

Just read up a bit now, seems I have the 35mm chassis version on my fork, which is good news, as the have in stock. The Revelation/sector has the 32mm chassis.

Now my only question is can I use the bolt, as I dont want the QR again.

Will see if I can find crow

Damn, pricey mistake, sorry to hear - some oe's tighten the QR part like a normal QR skewer - Not the correct technique!!

You tighten the maxle part a 1/4 turn or so past bedding, not brute tight and then tighten the QR part so it locks with a firm but not forceful push over, I can turn mine easily when flipped close. I love the double safety of the system, really don't think you need the bolt Maxle Lite - then also have the inconvenience of needing to have a spanner to get the wheel out.

Never had issues with my maxle Lite with QR on a 140mm Rev, got rather jammed in the hub before tho.

There was some kind of really sticky factory grease on it and over 3yrs it kind of glued itself in.

After much swearing I realized it just needed a few gentle taps of the copper hammer to ease it out.

I feel for people with no copper hammer, such a handy tool that very few will have ever heard of never mind own.

Learnt my lesson now atleast. But I have to carry a spanner everywhere. Customised my 12mm solid bolt to fit my 9mm QR dorpouts, which gives bit more rigidity, but they need a number 17 spanner to loosen, haha

Feel like such an idiot now, found this. Seems my QR went lose when I was turning it, but only finding this hidden diagram, I found you can tighten it with the screw deep inside.

So whenever someone has this problem again, here is the diagram

By the way its fixed :)

ROFL

At least it's not broken and it didn't cost you anything. Mine did the same thing and I rode it a bit loose for a few rides until someone showed me the cam bolt.
