Jens is slowing down a bit with age, and Horner is speeding up. I dont buy it. - Sadly you just put into words what many are thinking. I guess we will see. GrumpyOldGuy Posted September 3, 2013 Share He is as old as me!No more excuses.Looks like GoG and I may have called this one wrong! - It is kinda embarrassing, although in our favor is Basso who appears to be as strong as any in the field, Scarpo unfortunately though is not doing well, sad cos he cant even claim fatigue from the Tour. I dare say Rodriguez also looks to be struggling a little, this climb had a perfect finish for a small climber to accelerate away and Rodriguez is famous for that, I was almost holding my breath waiting for it, but alas, I think he is also somewhat fatigued - its a tough call so close to the tour. Nibs though, looked fine, I think he underestimated Horner a little, maybe they all did, but I dont think they will let him ride away again.
