Stephan Posted November 14, 2023 Share I have never used it, but my trail-running friends swear by it. Has anyone used it for marathons, stage racing, or long-distance endurance cycling? https://tailwindnutrition.co.za/key-differentiators/

bleedToWin Posted November 14, 2023 Share Looks like a reasonable composition, but very expensive.
Bub Marley Posted November 14, 2023 Share Ive been testing it now for about 2 months. So far so good for me. It is costly, but if you factor the costs of gels, bars and food etc that you would normally consume, you save on those costs. The only negative I’ve found is because Im drinking so much more now, I need to pee more often. Other than that, it’s a thumbs up from me.

JacquesJ Posted November 14, 2023 Share There's a thread on homemade nutrition on Trainerroad forum. Basically suger (1:1 glucose:fructose) and some salt, something for flavor (DrinkOPop?) My wallet finds this very attractive 😜 https://www.trainerroad.com/forum/t/diy-sports-powder-carb-drinks-please-share-your-recipe/75788/147 Edited November 14, 2023 by Jacques Joubert WC

Also it might be good to get some potassium and magnesium in there, will see if there is an easy way.

guidodg Posted December 8, 2023 Share Well its pretty much all carbohydrates since it contains no fats or protein so 27grams of mix will be 25grams of carbs...the rest being minerals Edited December 8, 2023 by guidodg reteid
