Change Sram FD bands

Is it possible.

 

I've got a XX 32mm "band size" FD but need a 35mm. I've got an old x9 FD laying here with the band can it be changed? Anyone done it before?

 

Worse case anyone got a XX top pull 2x10 FD to swop. Mine in great condition

Wow no-one tried yet.....

 

Anyway I'm cheap, so i tried and finally got it.

Limit adjusting screw needed a spacer/shim underneath to lift part of the mechanism to get access to screw, which allows to remove the band. Now to replace the 32mm(31.6) for a 35mm(34.9) band. And bam my sram fd clamp size change complete.
