Can you get the Canyon as a frameset only?

Can you get the Canyon as a frameset only?

 

If one could I don't know how on earth they would price it!

 

Brands like Canyon and YT sell well specced bikes for very good prices. If one were to add the price of all the components (excl fame) on each of those bikes, it'll probably work out that you're getting the frame for free.

I worked out the other day (a while back) that if you buy canyons top specced dh bike, and for some reason you get a perfect exchange rate all you pay for is the fork, the wheels and maybe the double barrel

 

 

 

the rest of the bike is free

 

id still rather get a tues 2.0 though

 

 

 

and with regards to this thread, yt ftw (however check the price of the wicked with the box suspension, not sure what it is, but that is an awesome bike)

You can get some Canyons as framesets. (at least you could the last time i looked) But as you rightly pointed out they make money by selling specced bikes.

I will be arranging with family in the uk then arranging shipping or a visit to SA.

 

After reading the comments, I am thinking about going with the wicked.

How would you go about putting in a warranty claim should something fail on the frame for example??

You see both brands. I'd say I saw more YT's simply cos Canyon don't make a full on DH bike as such. I met 2 Germans in 2012 and they had gotten the mega limited edition TUES with all the flash bits. Saw them again this year and they were still just as stoked.
