@Flowta what are your thoughts on the vigilante? Have you ridden with Continental mountain king2 protection? How does the vigilante compare to it?

Haha yes final nail in the avids coffin. After completely binding after putting new pads. So current set up: Yt industries Wicked 650b Wheels:mountain king protection v2 Rock shock Pike 160mm Rock shock monarch 160mm Avid elixirs 5 200mm disks New brakes to be ordered: Hope e4 with Tech V3 levers. 200mm floating disks Chain guide to be determined.

The avids on my wicked are getting binned for a set of Hope E4. After the rubbish they caused today at karkloof.

Guys YT industries are brilliant value for money. I couldn't build a bike with similar specs to the Wicked I brought in this, was in October/November before there was any marketing about the Capra. Omega_man's plan to have the bike picked up in France is a good idea saving on shipping and tax.

I have got the elbow guards. They feel they same as wearing arm warmers. They are very flexible and it doesn't feel like you are wearing elbow guards. l have had a small fall with them on, seemed to protect the elbow. They were worn under a motor cross jersey.
