Tiagra - conversion from double to Triple

Just a quick question to the Hub, I recently got a Triple crank-set, is all Tiagra STI triple compatible? and would my STD RD handle the change to the small front chainring?

No, you get a double and a trip left STI. You will also need a trip FD as well although you may get a double FD to work over a trip setup

Nope, STI must be triple specific and can not be changed like the mountainbike shifters can.

 

By STD RD you mean standard Rear Derailleur?

So no! Your RD wont handle the change to the small front chainring ... that is what a Front Derailleur is for
