What lube to use on shifter cables?

Wurth Liquid Grease spray may be something to consider if you choose to lube your cables/have the special sealing ferrules, called Wurth HHS2000 R80 a 500ml tin, lasts for ages, best general purpose lube in a can:

Frikkin coffee all over keyboard and phone, you cost me lots of money :(

 

I remember being chastised by you about lubing cables ..... Just keep a couple of spare inners and a couple of meters of outer in the garage these days and just change it when shifting is not so lekker crisp anymore. As my Dad would have said 'dis nie 'n huis se geld nie'
