I'm thinking about the same thing.

 

@Alouette - I am riding the Argus for my first time next year. For a newb would you say a mtb will work? Alternatively I am also looking for a road bike, but from what you are saying it sounds like a mtb will help a newb out?

I much prefer the ride position and gearing of a mtb. If you use a mtb it might be worth your while getting some slicks, it makes a big difference on the road. I've used Continental Sport Contacts 26x1.3 and love them.

 

Hey I might even ride the Argus on a mtb again, will certainly do some training on it.
