My Question is if you think this will work with K-Edge or KCNC mounts??

Not sure I understand your question?

The 705 wont work on K-edge mounts, quarter turn for 500, 510, 800 and 810

Dont know about KCNC. Barfly also has the quarter turn mount.

Far as I know Sram bought only 20 of those in to SA, but they all gone

The little plastic bit of the Sram mount will fit the 705 on one side.

That little plastic bit will not fit into any of the other mounts, K-edge or Barfly unless you modify it.

The K-edge has bolts through the little plastic bit that screws into the mount

Thanks for the help. i thought it was an "adapter" or sort, like a 705 to 1/4 turn adapter

Found this while reading the description

"

The new SRAM QuickView Computer Mount Adaptor features a slide interface on one side, and a quarter-turn twist on the other, to conveniently attach a Garmin Edge® 605 or 705 computer to any SRAM QuickView Computer Mount.

Easy to install, light, secure and durable. The all-new SRAM Quickview Adaptor makes slick work of attaching your sliding head unit interface to any of SRAM‘s quarter-turn Quickview Mounts."

so according to this it will fit any quarter turn mount like eg K-Edge????

I hope these last a bit longer than the standard Garmin mounts.

I've had some good luck with my current ones (touch wood), but also had a number of them break in no time.

What's the word on local availibility.?

Found this and it looks like it will work but it wont change the fact that your unit will be sitting pretty high on the mount since the adapter fills the quarter turn mount and then you put the unit on top of that.

We tried getting hold of them last week but were told that they bought in only 20 and they are all gone

20 adapters or 20 mounts? not interested in the mount as it sits high and not flush like a k edge or kcnc

Both are out of stock.

They might be getting more adapters towards the end of the month, I called them just now.
