I came across that 11/38 the other day, I cant understand that price, its just insane.

 

Sure, R1900 is fairly expensive but I think the prices are volume driven, remember as well that you wont need to replace the adapter with every cassette change so its not too bad especially when compared to the R4500 price tag on an XX1 cassette.
