Hi all

I have a 2012 Merida Bignine TFS500 29er HT, size M think its a 17" very low kms and I'm looking at swopping it for a 29er Full Suspension. I'm willing to swop the frame or buy a new/2nd hand frame. I want to built everything over on the Fullsusser frame. I had 2 back operations in the last 2 years so I'm kind of forced to go the fullsusser direction.

Can anybody give me advice or does any one know or have a 2nd hand frame 4 sale?

I saw a Trek Top Fuel 69er frame for R2999,95 on Solomons website today. Will that be a 29er frame and how good a frame is this? Will I be able to do a rebuilt using my Merida Tfs500? Would it be viable to do this?

Unfortunately not, it is an 69er frame. 29" wheel up front and 26" wheel at the rear.

Flowta, I had 2 back operations in the last 2 years, now my lower back L4+5 got fixed and I can't decide if I need/want to change back to a full susser. I had a 26er Gt full susser which I sold before I bought the Merida ht 29er, what do you think?

check out carbon29er/booth cycles

I have and their bikes and pricing that I could find looks great. I've just got some trust issues ordering anything from abroad over the Internet. R12k for a full suspension frame

If you have or expect you will have back issues then it's probably a good idea. (I mean issues from repetitive impact of a hardtail rather than core strength.)

Unfortunately you are looking for a Medium and not a large, else I may have had something for you.

I suffer a bit from overweight and a growing boep, so I think that I need to get my fitness level way better and only then will I be able to make a well thought through decision.
