  1. The Ride is the most comfortable of the three
  2. New freebody unfortunately.
  3. Cape Cycle Systems are the local agents.
  4. If you don't have a tow bar, go for the Buzz Rack Pilot, well worth the extra money.
  5. Keep your chest strap clean. Wipe after every ride. Also, clear the memory on your Garmin. When you see your HR spike, hold your shirt against your chest, specially in windy conditions. The strap picks up your shirt's vibrations and think it's your HR.
  6. Your cable might not be seated properly inside the shifter. Try a new cable and casing, and set your gears. Cable and casing R100.
  7. Tubeless tyres are easier to deal with than Tubeless Ready tyres. The only advise I can give you is to ride more or spin the wheels often if you can't ride.
  8. BuzzRack, nothing else for that price.
  9. Giant is great, Momsen Vipa also an option.
  10. All parts are available for these derailleurs.
  11. BTW, nothing wrong with a Titan. I would rather have a Titan with XT than a "popular" brand with crap group set
  12. You can also consider the Merida Big Nine 1000 and Momsen AL529
  13. There is no such thing as a carbon stem, carbon wrap maybe yes. I would also not spend more than R600-R800 on a stem.
  14. The problem should be taken up with the bike shop you bought it from. I am a bike shop owner and can tell you the chain was not fitted properly. This has nothing to do with Silverback, the bike shop are the one's assembling the bike. My client would come back to me and I would have fixed the bike for free.Surprized that you would bash a brand like this when you've been around bikes and bike shops for so long.
  15. No play at all. If you have sealed bearings, have them replaced. If you have cups and cones, have it tightened, actually have the hub serviced.
  16. Article couple of weeks ago in the local papers, will be law soon, for on-road use.
  17. Both Shimano and Sidi shoes very comfy (for me) One shoe for all would have to be a MTB shoe, and MTB pedals on your road bike. As for pedals, I like the candy's.
  18. I have a Silverback Vida 1 Medium for R10800, brand new bike, 2013 stock clearance.
