Muggins Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 That mud got the better of me yesterday. Just out of interest I see the weather link shows up on my Ipad and one can see it. On my desk top it just says Hakahana Trails Weather but there is no weather detail.
Muggins Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 Weather permitting I will be back on Sunday to do the Blue, Purple and Green route. 35 km distance and 710 meters of climbing. That should be a good test run for the half marathon race next week at Nissan Trailseeker 5.

jonkieparys Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 Just completed the black, blue and green Trail = 40km. Honestly unbelievable can't say enough about the routes. Extremely well marked and well looked after.
Muggins Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 I did the same route yesterday. Once you turn right off that long dirt road with the bumps along it and start climbing it feels like the hills are not going to end. That black route is a serious leg worker.
MK Killer Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 Cycled there today... all I can say is true mountain biking. Black route is hard on the legs and the decline is aweaome... didnt get to the red route but if thats tougher than black... shew im in big trouble
