CT, a company that does Architecture and Interiors, though we have been doing mostly Architectural Interiors for high end corporate, hospitality, retail and food industry as of late.

You just can't be visible enough out there, so I'm surprised by the number of riders I see out on the road every weekend wearing black (or very dark) kit. I know that most of the cycle shops have a very limited range of kit for sale, and by the time you've made your selection on size and affordability there's very little to choose from (and frankly, by that stage it's generally either plain ugly or mediocre quality).

 

I've resorted to taking my chances with SAPO and Customs, and buying kit online. It's a bit risky for sizing, but at least there's choice, size and affordability. With some suppliers there's also the chance to check product reviews, which takes more risk out of the equation.

 

I bought this Endura gilet recently for about R300. Good value and reasonably good quality. And it's bright!

 

Why don't the kit manufacturers here make a range of high viz clothing?

Chain Reaction. They've usually got specials going on, although it gets tricky to find the right size when they go on sale. But even at their normal prices they're still fairly cheap.
