The retailer can only go as far as the distributor gives the support for them to do so.

 

As for your love poem, massive turnaround from what a bunch of "clowns" they were with your Thule rack scenario.

 

As for the OP's problem.

It seems like a rather common problem on the Scott bikes (one of those where their R&D work was left up to he public again)

 

So it is highly likely that they ran out of warrantee stock they had as a result of the number of warranties they have had to execute.

I sincerely hope for the OP's sake they aren'y delaying his new stay by trying to save some money by brining it in with their next shipment .

 

I had experience of this earlier this year! Luckily for me the LBS (Wyatt) provided excellent service and helped me out until a replacement part came!

I differ from that. The Hub is a huge market.

I don't think that many of the total number of cyclists in SA are on the Hub.

 

Back on topic, it is great to see some people connected to Scott coming to the party.
