Jacques9874 Posted October 8, 2013 Share I downloaded the strava app onto my iphone 4 a few weeks back, but it doesn't seem to work. I don't have any form of cycle computer or cyclometer or anything but every time I start to record, put it back into my pocket and go for a ride it says incomplete workout or something or it just opens as if nothing's happened! Any advice on solving the problem?
bebop Posted October 8, 2013 Share Hi there sat with the same problem - you have to give it access to your location service. you can find it in settings - privacy - Location Services scroll down and switch it on also make sure your main Location service is on. This should sort it out.
Lostee Posted October 8, 2013 Share Make sure that the GPS signal strength is strong and green before you start your ride.

Madlight Posted October 9, 2013 Share Also, beware that Strava can stop itself when bouncing around in your pocket, so lock the screen before you slip it in your pocket.
North Shore Posted October 9, 2013 Share If you're on iOS7 you need to also turn on background app refresh for strava. Settings>General>Background App refresh.
