I heard of guys setting there crank 90 degrees apart.
How can you keep rhythm together like that? Should the two cranks be 100% aligned?
Off setting them can cause huge problem when trying to corner and also makes the jump to the standing position more difficult. When TT'ing on flat it can also disrupt your rythm and this is where the Q-ring removes the assosiated "dead spot".

I'm seeing my shop tomorrow about the Q-ring.

Can you only put it on 1 gear or all 3?

Not too sure what your question means - can you elaborate

the Q - ring is the front big gear blade.

on the font gears i've got 3 gears(blades)

do you use it only on the big one or all 3?

You can get three blades but only get the big and middle.
