I need some advise on wheelsets that I am looking at purchasing. Can anyone tell me if Fulcrum wheels are any good compared to the other brands and if parts are readily available.

I need all the advise I can get, thanks guys in advance.

Best bet at that price new would be to go for some Mavic Aksiums. I had a pair on my old bike and used them for two years with no issues. CWC has them for R2999 including new tyres just to give you a price indication.

Evobikes has a set without tyres for R2.5k

CWC link,

Kysiriums and Fulcrum 3's are a bit more than 2.5k new unless you buying secondhand. Fulcrum's are a sub brand of Campagnolo. As to their reliability I can't say.

Thanks Organic for those threads, its just what I was looking for. I think the Fulcrums would be my best choice. On the parts side, are they freely available? Thanks guys!!!
