Pull-out Corsa Bike Rack - It's true!

For those of you who have seen the advert on TV, where a bloke pulls a bike rack from the bumper of his Corsa... well it turns out it's real...

 

 

 

Let's hear it for Opel! What a cool idea...

Very nifty... Just a pity that it only comes in a 1.4 model... But i guess with the petrol prices.. thats not such a bad thing... ;P

people this thing is great. 2 things u should know about it first.

1 if added u loose your normal size spare wheel for a thin one.

2 the wheels of the bike when mounted dont rest on the bike mount but goes slightly below that. so in short the wheels will be end of your bumper level.

Very  expensive!

 

Had a look at it with the wife a month ago, that option was over R10k AND you loose the spare wheel

 

Nice idea, but simply way too expensive.

As far as I know you have NO spare tire, I stand corrected.  Just a repair kit and a electric pump.  <?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

PS: Ranting alert, foam around the mouth, the works.  With the amount of problem I have had with my Opel Meriva I would recommend people to stay as far as possible from Opel and GM. Check out the latest Car magazine to see how badly it is rated.

correction u do get a spare tire but it is a biscuit tire.

and with the option of the rack will set u back about 6 - 7000.

its worth it. hide when u dont use it. and it doesnt take space in your

garage
