Inside grooves of the rings are exactly the same.

Hi guys, thought I'll revive this thread.

I've got Zipp303's with 188 V7 hubs, black hubs with red end caps. I want to do a 11 speed conversion, what's the best way to go about it?

sounds about right as the difference between the 11spd and 10spd cassettes is about 1.8mm.

I can confirm it is 1.8mm, I have machined a hub previously to do this for a set of race wheels for my tri-bike, when upgraded to 11spd

Machine the freebody, it is the quickest and easiest way if you cannot get a 11spd freebody!

Anybody in Cape town try this yet and which engineering shop did you use?

Did I hear correct that when going from Shimano 10speed to 11speed yoh only need 0.8mm?

Hi folks,

Seems like quite a dead thread this, but seems I'll be reviving it for a second time.

Bought a set of carbon wheels of a Hubber incl. a carbon disc wheels with a quite old Powertap hub.

Silly me never thought of a 10 speed to 11 speed conversion before a handed the money over, so now I've come here for assistance.

From what I gather, this is a Zipp 182 hub and it comes with the red freebody which seems to be only 10 speed compatible (I tried to fit a 105 11 speed cassette but it didn't).

Now, I'm getting really confused at to what to do to solve my problem. My options, I believe, are as follows -

1. Buy the expensive Zipp freebody (saw it for R3k, gulp  )

2. Buy the Powertap 11 speed freebody and hope it fits

3. Kindly ask the seller for a refund, even though it was never his mistake.

Some reading here on what it looks like.
