Start 06h30 from Shopping Complex, foot of Helshoogte.

It is a training ride, not a race, so the pace will be quite relaxed.

In so far :

Wannabe.

Berry

LRW

MADS?

Add Brogue to the list. No cramping allowed though #justsaying :whistling:

HI peeps. Mind if I join? Quite new to cycling (3months) and the 44KM burger will be my first cycle tour and I've never gone over hellshoogte before. Would your ride pace suit me?

Would you be able to do 100km at avg of between 20-25km/h?

If yes, feel free, otherwise you can always take a shorter route from Paarl side when we go past there. (do you know the area at all?)

The most I do is about 60Km but increasing that every week. Maybe I'll give you guys a shout when my training has progressed a bit more. Thanks for the offer though,

Maybe roll with for an hour and peel off, Velo Racer.

Helz is a beautiful ascent. Go meet it?

Just had a look at the Windguru prediction for saturday. Looks like good riding conditions, very low % probability of rain.

yep.....changed a lot from tuesdays prediction...will probably change again (knowing CT), and we'll be back to those one tonner training ride/race conditions :whistling:
