So in have decided to spruce up my trainer bike and the 25 year old Hansom 708 can use a new coat of paint. I found this thread, but I see it has been inactive for a while.

Any more feedback on cycledelic or cycleart from any hubbers?

It seems like if you are in the cape then Bogus designs is a no brainer, who is the gauteng version of Bogus?

Anyone have any experience with repairing chips to a carbon frame  - I assume it is a tad more difficult as you are now matching colours? Is Cycledelic still the best option?

Cycledelic i had my one of my specialized frames done which had chips when finished looked better than new. she not only repaired chip but also polished everything frame came back new. Carbon/Alu the job always perfect. No decal she sprays the logos one not just sticker jobs...

definitively recommend

What does a respray cost?

Thanks Asterix, much appreciated.

Is the cost dependent on number/size of the chips or is it a flat rate?

i think i payed flat rate came too R800 or so for 2 chips. Don't think i payed per chip, cost was just based on Labor and repair areas. No carbon repair but i know they do that as well if needed.

you can email www.cycledelic.co.za

The lady owner normally responds fast.. prices may have changed as i done it about 2 years ago and my repair require the Logo to be redone and it was perfect afterwards.
