My name is David Kleynhans.

I am a voluntary worker for Old Age Homes in South Africa.

I am busy making arrangements for my next project.

To cycle from Cape Town to Durban, to compete in the Tsogo Amashova Durban Classic.

I would like you to post my Quest on the Tsogo Amashova Durban Classic social pages to assist me with raising awareness.

I would like to use a table at the registration expo to assist with raising the awareness for an Old Age Home.

I have done three Tours this year namely.

1. Febuary, HERALD VW CYCLE TOUR, 780km /3 Days. Cape Town 2 PE.

R5600 was collected for ABCA, Algoa Bay Council for the Aged.

2. April, AQUELLE TOUR DURBAN, 1700km /7 Days. Cape Town 2 Durban.

R2100 was collected for TAFTA, Ray Hulett and R2100 for House Zonnekus.

3. July, MOMENTUM WEEKEND ARGUS KNYSNA CYCLE, 550km /27Hour

R3700 was collected for House Vermont in Knysna.

Here is two letters of recommendation.

To whom it may concern

David Kleynhans : awareness & fundraising

This letter confirms that David Kleynhans cycled from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth to raise funds and awareness on our behalf via a cycle event which took place during the period January 2014 to February 2014.

David, made all his own arrangements including publicity and ticket sales.

Algoa Bay Council for the Aged received a donation of R5 600, the amount deposited by him into our banking account on 14 April 2014 for which a receipt (No. 45) was issued.

The Algoa Bay Council for the Aged renders supportive services to primarily sub-economic older person in the Nelson Mandela Metro.

One of our projects is to assist with an affordable midday meal which provides the required nutrition to keep our members and residents active and health. The cost of meal provision way exceeds the fee charged to the older person and we are always looking for sponsorship of our meal programme.

The donation of R 5 600 enabled us to provide 425 sponsored meals to those living on the state pension of R 1 300 per month.

We provided a total of 41 496 meals in the year of this donation.

We are most grateful to David Kleynhans for his service to the underprivileged older persons.

Regards

MAndreka Maureen Andreka

Dear Mr. Kleynhans,

Thank you for thinking about the elderly in our care.

Your kind donation of R 2 100 made to Ray Hulett House is most appreciated.

Your personal challenge of cycling to raise funds for the elderly is commendable.

We are fortunate to have the backing of donors like you that put their strength, commitment and generosity to extend a helping hand to those that need it the most.

Ray Hulett House is situated at Acutt Street Durban and is home to approximately 270 older folk, who live mostly on a state pension. Your generous donation will help us assist the residents of this sub-economic building.

Should you wish to visit Ray Hulett House or any of our other buildings please let me know so that a tour can be arranged for you. If you would like more information about TAFTA, please let me know.

We wish you well in your future fundraising initiatives.

Kind regards
