Anyone know who the local roval importer is? I've had a quick google but no dice....

 

Should be Spez surely? They are a Spez product...

while you are at it: get a new bike rack that does not place your bike in such a way that the exhaust blows hot air straight onto your wheel. Had a similar incident many moons ago with an alu wheelset. Decided after that to get a proper platform bike rack.

 

Or you can get an exhaust place to make you a removable piece, that when on, diverts the exhaust gas down and away. Tightens with a wingnut. Quite a few of my friends use them on their Fortuner's. Works like a charm and the fraction of the cost of a bike rack or wheel.

ta, insurance sorted so replaced with a set of mavic slr and rebuild roval hubs on new alu rims on own cost as a second pair of wheels, so all sorted. i have a platform bike rack, too slapgat lazy to put it on but lesson learned. on the exhaust fittings, wont it stuff up turbos etc? cant really picture my beefy exhaust pipes with curly bits on it lol, so onto the platform rack i guess
