MTB Hire around Capetown in December

We are planning a holiday in CT and would love to ride the amazing trails in Tokai and Jonkershoek area.

 

Where can we hire a mtb that will not fall apart down the first rut, but are still affordable to enjoy a fun trail?

 

Unfortunately us Vaalies cant take our bikes down...

Rental is about 200 to 250 per day. So for 30 days it was ridiculous. Got myself a low spec, secondhand @ R2500 and can store, sell or donate it when finished.

The ride in cafe just outside Jonkers( about 7km or so out) hire out very nice Specialized bikes!

They always have the latest bikes available and you'll hardly ever ride a bike that's more than 6 months old. I think they just got a bunch of 2014 Giant models in.

 

Yes, it will be a lot more expensive than a 2nd hand, low spec cheapie, but if you can't ride the trails on a decent bike then what's the point really?
