Magaliesburg Mountain Bike Club (MMBC)

I have formed the MMBC to try and bring together all interested parties within the Magaliesburg (village) area to begin forming a trail in and around the village and surrounding countryside (to begin with).

 

This will be a long term project aimed at bringing more tourism and interest to the Magalies area, not just for cycling but for accommodation and local activities/places of interest as well.

 

It is still very much 'early days' but if you would like to stay up to date with news and progress then please visit.

Please note that the MMBC will be having their Inaugural General Meeting on Wednesday 11 Dec at 5pm (meeting to commence no later than 5:30pm) at Big Creek Lodge (www.bigcreek.co.za) in Maanhaarand.

 

The venue has a cash bar available and has very kindly offered their facilities for our meeting.

 

The meeting is to briefly outline the club and trail objectives, review the club constitution and then to nominate a committee to start work as soon as possible on the project.

 

Please could you let me know no later than Monday 9 Dec if you will be attending or not.

If you do not reply it will be assumed that you will not be attending the IGM.

 

An info pack for the meeting will be emailed to you once you confirm your attendance.

Our first meeting was held last night and the support and response was fantastic!

 

There is a lot of interest in this project and the club has been formed so we can now move forward and get the ball rolling on the Magaliesburg trail network!
