Velloen bike Posted December 8, 2013 Share Is this this the same as brain?
BMXER Posted December 8, 2013 Share Very similar. Designed by the same chap. He moved from fox to specialized about 5 years ago (I think).
jonothemover Posted December 8, 2013 Share It's the original 'Brain'. Specialized spec'd their bikes with these before teaming up with RockShox for the Brain. I have a Fox F100X with 100mm travel.Simply, Bump Threshold dial adjusts how hard the first bump needs to be to open the inertia valve which then allows the fork to work 'normally'.As the trail smoothens out the inertia valve closes and returns the fork to being 'rigid'.hope this helps. DMC007 Posted December 8, 2013 Share I used the same fork (older model tho-2005) for a while but the I-Valve got busted. Omnico replaced the entire cartridge to a 2010 Model (non-terralogic).I dont miss the Terralogic feature at all.....
