fiasm Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Ok Nancy! As long as the said ladies are attractive (personality counts too!) on the bike or off' date=' its all good! Would be nice to cycle with the fairer sex! Cant remember the last time I did!![/quote'] Now this begs the question: What do guys find "attractive" in a lady?Is sexy about what she looks like or does some level of confidence and intellectualism count? .... "she has a great personality" in guy talk generally means ..."she's F*ing ugly" nancy, this is a frequently repeated comment:men are turned on by what they see, women by what they hear.fiasm2008-02-20 06:36:08

Not fair to generalise like that....some men are different, although I'll admit they are a small minority

AndreZA Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Believe me when I tell you that Pink Floyd and Roger Waters does not work. You fall asleep. My two favourite songs is Crazy chick from Chartlotte Church and Since you've been gone bu Kelly Clarkson. It's not my favourite choice of music but the beat get you going. I've got songs on my player solely for training that will never make it onto my cd player in the house or car.
SeanMort Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 On the road for training - mostly yes, but low volume and sometimes turned off when the riding allows for conversation. I can still hear vehicles coming up behind me with no problem. Quite often I hear them before my ride partners who don't ride with music players. Mostly listen to upbeat tempo music and some of my favourite Boston tracks [i'm a big fan]. Also some Metallica, Def Leppard & AC/DC.During races - never. MTB'ing - never.
AttieSlabbert Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Only listens on the indoor trainer or when climbing loooooong hills/mountains, 90% when I run. Thinking of getting it for the pool too!!

GreyOwl Posted February 21, 2008 Posted February 21, 2008 Nancy Drew...I only saw your post now!! Sadly, if you have to ask...I'm a hedonist! So I'm sure many a girl has a great personality, (& that does not by any means relate to being ugly!)but being the shallow narcisistic man that I am, I only ever find myself attracted to sexy girls!! I'm sorry!!! Thats the truth! I know I'm not the best looking guy on the planet, but thats what I'm like. Scary thing is that I never learn my lesson, and the sexy girls always prove to be the worst investment by way of a girlfriend!! (I sound like a monster I know!) But to bring it into line with the origin of this thread, my pursuit of the ideal feminine match has been much like the song "One by one" from the Foo Fighters!! (I'm in so much trouble now!)

decibach db Posted February 21, 2008 Posted February 21, 2008 first I look at the beats per minute (BPM) It has to be between 80-120 lol. But that's to slow - so I double up on fast tracks. Let the music keep your legs pumping.
