Is the valvecore on these Tubby's removeable or not?

Trying to inflate one, but the valve is blocked solid (not even pressurised air can get in)

There is a valve extension on it, (red anodised with Vittoria printed on it) but it does not turn out, and seems to be part of the tubby.

Even the section of the valvecore that screws out does not seem to have thread to allow it to be removed.

What am I doing wrong here? Don't wanna force it and possibly ruin the tubby.

Maybe you have this one. Entire valve screws off. Grip securely at base and twist

Looks similar, but a bit worried that it might stuff something up on the inside.

The extension valves come with a plastic fitting to grip the top of the valve. the tubbie must not be fitted when you remove. if the tubby is deflated you can feel where the valve ends, and from the pic of the valve you can see where to grip. Alternatively take it to your lbs.

Rather gonna do this. Thanks.

Took the wheel to a LBS (not my normal one), and they pulled the tubbie of the rim for me.

Bad news, brand new tubbie FUBAR. Sludge / Slime got into the valvecore and completely blocked the valve. Can not be taken out to be cleaned, so no other option than to replace. :cursing:

One almost brand new tubbie down the drain. Cheapest replacement I can get is R660.00.
