Battery life?

How long is your V800 battery lasting now after the latest upgrades?

Mine was fully charged yesterday morning and after wearing it all day and just over 5 hours of activity (with gps function) it was looking very low last night.

Interested to hear from those who wear it all day as an activity tracker combined with regular sports tracking.

I am more worried because it lasts almost too long to be true.

Even after 2 hours trail running a gym session and then wearing all day it still only takes about 5 to 10 min to fully charge again.

Doing some longer rides etc this weekend so will check then.

I'm doing the Double Century tomorrow in a group on mountain bikes. We'll probably be in the saddle for at least 8-9 hours, so I'll let you know how far it goes in 1 second mode.

I charged my watch on Friday morning, recorded the 8H24 ride on Saturday and when I got home on Sunday morning the battery bar seemed to be at about 40% (not sure if there's a way to see the exact %). Pretty decent. Maybe if you disable some features like vibrating feedback and tap sensor you could extend it a bit.

Jeez ... charged mine on Friday morning. Did a good 2 hour plus mtb and straight after that trail run for another hour. Spinner this morning for 1.5 hours and now i am down to what lloks to me like 80%

Anyone got / tried / compared the M400 to the V800?

I  know they are different i.e. V800 is a dedicated multisport while the M400 is more a running watch.

See the usb cable and strap differ significantly, the M400 strap looks more comfortable than the V800...wonder if they are interchangeable.... :whistling:

Looks so much sexier than the V800!! The look really appeals to me

Although the m400 is more of a running watch it still has support for other sports such as cycling.

Here is a nice comparison

* The V800 HAS an alarm clock. In fact, it vibrates which helps to wake me up.

* I DO sometimes have issues with a GPS signal on my V800.

* The M400 is much bulkier.

99% of the time my V800 gets the gps ok signal very quickly, sometimes even before i have got completely out into the open. Apparently the M400 is quicker...

All the comparisons / tests say the M400 is slightly smaller, but my impression is also that it is as least as "bulky" as the V800...but have not actualy held them side by side. I'm thinking of getting one for my wiff who has the old Nike Sport+ gps watch at the moment and being female n all.... dont want it to be to bulky. I think DC rainmaker said it was one of the smallest gps watches...

One thing for sure, its price is smaller

I was just referring to the picture in the comparison link Izak posted, haven't seen it yet. However, looking at the introduction video on the Polar site, it does look pretty bulky on that pretty lady's arm...

I have actually tried it on and although it is slightly bigger it is slimmer and just more rounded.

The screen's usage of the available real estate is much better than the V800 imo.

Feels much better on the arm to me personally.

That was the main reason I loved my RCX5...and still have it ;)

HELP!!

I have a polar flow account registered with my home email address (this is how polar flow registration requires it).

Problem is how do i create a flow account for my wife using the same home email (as polar requires you to do), obviously it is the same as mine and when I try to register for her I get this message:

“Account already exists, please sign in or create an account with another email address”

Has anyone come across this problem and found out how to register a second account with the same email (email is used for the username).

Thanks
