I missed a lot...

I've decided to get a NEW 2013 54cm silverback strela 2 with full 105. the intention will be to use it as a donor bike as I'm getting it for a bargain  .

I am looking @ getting a carbon frame and doing the rebuild.

Keeping my fingers crossed all goes well

So then a 2013 Roubaix (105) with a few hundred km's for R16k is not a bad buy at all.

That is not bad

I picked up this baby Monday and took her for a first ride on Tuesday... DAMN!

full Dura Ace 10 speed + Dura Ace pedals

Easton EA90SLX with gatorskins

Fizik saddle

Total weight with 2 cages, computer and saddle bag(tube+2bombs and adaptor)

7.7kgs

Need to get used to the gearing though as I'm very much used to the "granny gear" on the mtb

FINE THANK YOU, THANKS

I have settled for the Scott Solace 20. Lot more than I wanted to spend but That's cycling. The only component I want to change is the wheels (Syncros RP2.0) and my be upgrade to DI2. What do you think

That is a very nice looking bike. I will pick up the Roubaix today and give it a bash.

That "granny gear" is most likely going to be troublesome to me aswell.
