JasonW Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 A bit off-topic, but the PowerTap MTB disc tub is now on the Saris site. Trying to find out SA prices from Adrian. Seems that it will only be available in 2.4 wireless (which is quite sensible for MTB anyway) and a bit heavier than the road version (although it is not clear from the site whether the quoted weight includes the rotor).

Im now so glad that i spent the extra cash and got the SI crankset, as all the Campy and Shimano sets will not be compatible! So at $1200 for the meter, and about R5000 for the GPS, you can have a complete power system for less than the price of a powertap 2.4 wireless wheelset. And the best bit is ityou can use ANY wheelset!
