Heading down to Trennerys for a week (via Plett) and keen to take my MTB for a bit of a look.

I've been looking about and can't find much info on the trails that might be near the hotel and any routes. Have seen a lot of posts about farmers shutting trails and those kind of issues due to carelessness.

Just hoping that anyone with past experience can point me in the right direction and what kind of riding there is down that way.

Will obviously be back in Harkerville when in Plett.

There are a number of paths around the hotels, and along the coast to the Jacaranda wreck and the Kobonqaba river, and if you are feeling brave you can ride to Wavecrest or further. Or you can ride to Kei Mouth. The rides are not too long, because of the big rivers in the area.

The area is all communal land, and the people are very friendly if you greet them. I've never had a problem riding there.

the ride from trennerys, over the pont to kei mouth, then morgan bay and double mouth is a nice one, its about 18km from trennerys to kei mouth and then about 7 kms to double mouth. you can either use district roads or the cattle tracks that weave along the coastline.
