Went to the show last night, what a privilege to witness a true a legend, i have been to nearly every rock band on earth but i have never ever heard anybody play guitar like Carlos Santana. He is on another level.

 

Brilliant show and big up to his percussionists and band they were simply masters of their craft.

 

If anyone is thinking of going do yourselves a favour and go to this gig a tru masterclass

Never seen or heard Santana but saw Steve Newman and Tony Cox jamming together at Barleycorn Music Club and also at the Baxter once - Those two in my opinion are, as J Clarkson says," the best.....(pause) in the world.!!

I'm going to the Johannesburg concert, I'm really looking forward to it. How long was the Cape Town concert, what was the mix of material he performed?

The Johannesburg concert was outstanding, what a pleasure! No need to say anything more about the man himself, his band is amazing. Johnny Clegg was really good too.

Very impressive show, the pure intensity and musical ability was just stunning. Not sure how old he is but his dexterity on the guitar is amazing.
