TitusTi Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 I do like Conti's though, for training there is nothing better than a 25 or 28c Ultra Gatorskin. And I owned the Red Michelin Pro Race. Admittedly I now race with Purple Pro Race tyre, but that's just because it looks absolutley horrible on a red Cannondale.
scotty Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 I've tried a number of tyres, Vredenstein, Schwalbe, Kenda (really cr@ppy ) but have got the best results out of my Conti Gators. I have found the Maxxi's are also good as well and ride with them on my training bike.
AndreZA Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 I saw on a documentary that the guy that does LA's tyres let them "dry out" for over a year before he uses them. They are tubbies but non the less interesting.
