Silvermine Reserve - Assault

Quiet at work today so I got onto Hello Peter, found this entry from last year, does anyone know anymore about it?

 

On Saturday the 06.07.2013 I was cycling on the Silvermine road, Ou Kaapse weg when I came across an altercation between a cyclist and a driver of a white bakkie . I asked the driver what the issue was, only to be told to F off and mind my own business before I get Fd up. I asked the cyclist what was going on but he was un sure. The drivers female companion told me that they are rangers and to move on and mind my own business. The cyclist was trying to get his permit out but the driver ranger was pulling his bike away from under him when all of a sudden the driverranger grabbed the cyclist by the throat and punched him in the face and threw the cyclist into the road. I tried to separate the ranger from the cyclist when a group of passing cyclists help pull the ranger off the cyclist. The cyclist, with blood pouring from his face, asked me to please get hold of the police as he had just been assaulted and his phone did not work in the mountain area. Unfortunately neither did my phone. The cheek of the matter was that the ranger placed the cyclist under arrest but not after kicking his bike all the way to the back of the bakkie and just throwing the bike into the back. Strong arm ?

There seems to be enough witnesses, hopefully the cyclist has lodged a case of assault against the "ranger"
