You also need to take into account the amount of $h!tt we talk before each run down. :P

Being a Friday afternoon Scout hall regular, I am only too familiar with the pre-pedal chit-chat.

...and those practices have worked their way into our trail riding, so auto-pause is essential

You don't consider that this is #Enduro not downhill. You have to ride to the top of the hill, what goes up must come down!

The 17km loop includes the ride from the trail centre to the end of one of the runs which is very flat and has a bit of jeep track. Then from the end of that run you have a big climb to the start (on an actual up route not the down line). From the start of that run you have +/- 2km run down with about 130m drop in elevation. Then you have a transition up to the next run which is quite a climb as well. The second run is +/- 3km long with about 250m drop in elevation. Then there is still the flattish ride back to the trail centre. All that makes up the 17km loop.

Not very #Enduro? Comparing this to Avianto?

Don't be a box, be lekker!

Come and ride the route and then judge

I was actually not being nasty to you...I was kinda telling Patches that if he moaned so much about less elevation at Avianto over a longer distance that I am not really keen to be his riding partner for this one

I am keen to go ride these at Hakahana though.

Just to shed some light on the actual runs, not that I trust strava and its numbers to much...

SP1 shows a bit of a climb just after the start? Strava got it wrong there.

I know it goes a little bit flat just after that initial steep tech section but there's no hint of any elevation gain.

You have a point wrt elevation vs. distance however... Avianto is a different kettle of fish.

If your not climbing during a stage you are doing it wrong :whistling:

Was great to ride with you Christie

Sure we will have another expedition out there quite soon.

Cool, thanks, same here.

Good to put some faces and real names to the Hub names...
