  1. I see you do seem to get a 11-51 11spd Deore cassette. Anyway let him ride what he has, and try with 32t, if he still need lower then try the Deore 11-51
  2. I would stick with the 11spd 11-46. 11spd Shimano is bomb proof and cheaper to replace. I would however get a 32t chain ring and see which works best. and as pointed out make sure it is setup properly, chain not worn etc. Keep in mind to change from 11-46 to 10-50 you will have to replace rear hub freewheel body which add significant cost. So even if the 11-46 is worn, I would stick with it and replace whats necessary. 11spd Pro's Cheaper than 12spd Not as finicky to set-up and maintain Con's less gear range 12sp Pro's More gearing range Con;s More expensive Finicky to set-up and maintain Required special freewheel body
  3. Im curious to see how long drive trains and freewheel bodies will last with these >100 N.m motors.
  4. https://www.autobarfitment.co.za/p/497149/towbars Contact them and ask if they have an extension that can fit in the square interface And they can probably make custom unit or adapt existing design to fit on your vehicle
  5. Since you have the square interface, it is much simpler to extend. The gooseneck on your vehicle is removable and you can easily replace it with a simple square tube extension while on the Defender the gooseneck part is not easily replaceable.
  6. What does the towbar look like on the Jetour T2? If its the square interface, you have many options to extend. If its a goose neck like on the Defender, youre screwed. I had Autobar towbar on my Prado with the rear sparewheel and the standard towbar extended just far enough for a standard Thule to clear the sparewheel
  7. Ive had bad experience with Look pedals adjustment screw stripping and you cant replace them. I wont consider them ever again. I would only ride Shimano if you want to stick with SPD's. XT or 540's. I wouldnt go a level lower than that.
  8. Any idea how much this bike would worth? From what I could gather the Flyer was pretty low end, but the groupset is pretty good?
  9. As far as I know number plates and lights are not a requirement in the USA (at least not all the states) And Thule do not import this type rack to SA
  10. My daughter, 12, 1.47cm, rides a small 29er with a reach of 420, 45mm stem and 650mm handlebar. Perfect fit. Dont underestimate effect of handlebar width, most kids rides bikes with handlebars too wide for them which makes the bike too big for them (their arms are too short to move through the wide arc the wider handlebar makes when turning)
  11. The Titan looks like a good bet (27.5). Pretty good spec and geometry. I would buy as is, and upgrade fork to something lighter and better at a later stage (if necessary)
  12. How old is he and how tall?
  13. Can you post a photo of the broken handle? Where are you based?
  14. Does anyone know why Tyler had such a poor seeding for the start of the XCO race? Like 24th or something
  15. Im watching on Youtube VPN via Japan. Works great
  16. Can you provide more specifics on location and time of day please
  17. Hi Nico 2x ebikes + 2 x normal bikes becomes very heavy for tow bar mounted system. Im working on my own design to transport 4x bikes, but will initially only fit on 2" square interface like most bakkies have. 1st prototype parts are incoming. If you are interested PM and I can provide more details. Mounting on trailer in your case would be good idea, again I can possibly give options if you PM me. Depends how much in a hurry you are.
  18. I have 2 sets of 140mm cranks with 28t chainrings for sale. PM me for more info if youre interested.
  19. Very cool. Is it a long term contract or a once off for this weekend? The press release from Mondraker just says he is joining them as a special guest for the weekend. Very much hoping it is a long term thing.
  20. Looks like normal hanger interface
  21. Now thats what Ive been waiting for
  22. Hi I have 2 rear shocks and yokes for Stumpjumper, slightly different. I've machined new yokes for the Stumpjumper to fit standard rear shock. I can help you to do the same. PM if you interested.
