For those that are bored at work and have 5 min free,

Here is my race run down SP1

Any "sneaky" lines were checked with race organizers.

I found most of the sneaky lines but I think i missed the one right after DVD :cursing:

1. Gareth Norwood moves up to 3rd (podium)  for Sub-vets. Sorry Dylan!! (your stage 4 time was impossible and we found the glitch), but you can keep your prize and no doubt continue to milk the accolade!! :w00t:.   We wil make a plan for Gareth. Well done mate!!

...

Thank you, very much appreciated   :w00t:

Johan hooked me up with free beer at the end out of his own pocket, we'll call it even

HAKAHANA ENDURO 2015 CUP#1 - REVISED RESULTS

In the rush to get the results out we made a few errors. Nothing too serious but it does affect the overall placings in the Sub-vets and winner of stage 4. The guys listed as DNF have been resolved and all other data has been checked thoroughly. Please find UPDATED RESULTS.

2. Francois Theron ends up wining Stage 4 with a time of 2:48!!  (Also an excel glitch accepting the 00:00 input for the first rider down). Congrats Mate!! Sorry Hilton, up-country competition is hotting up!! There are no changes to podium positions for Elites or other categories.

Cant wait for the next one! 13/14th June. (The best time of the year to ride at Hakahana).

Where was there one after DVD? Jumping those rocks was considered a short cut not a sneaky line

I actually didn't even see it, a friend showed me on our loop on Sat.

the Trail builders built some well hidden lines.

Trailbuiders advantage.... We may have to start putting some rocks in your path. Haha

So well hidden that the trail builder for SP3 didn't even know about that top line on SP1 until this weekend :whistling:

Rocks in the path??? Where are we going to find such a thing...

That line does take a bit of commitment to get onto. Not as easy as it looks.

The "B" line is going to become fun and faster: right hand berm dropping into long left hand berm.

I looked at it a few times when I was still injured but never rode it myself. It was Mr Morewood and Frosty who I first saw riding it in the week leading up to the race.

And Lastly SP4 race run.

This is an awesome stage, that bottom section feels like you are on a roller coaster.

I'm not going to post SP2 because Heinrich had a better run and has already posted his.

I think we need more BIG jumps in the stages, give me a bit of an advantage over Frosty

I saw it for the first time just after I talked to you and then walked down to check the A line. I think it was JP that I saw coming flying down there.

I inspected the line carefully and used it for the first time in my race run!

Must have made up 4 or 5 seconds!!!!!! Thanks JP
