Does anyone have experience with S-TRACK CARBON TI pedals for MTB?

I tend to avoid titanium axled pedals. Titanium is exhibits a greater deflection for a given load at similar dimensions to steel. This means the bearings are having to absorb load through a greater range of dynamic movement and thus they don't last as long.

If you're a out and out race snake looking for the lightest bike then go for ti axles. If not, save yourself a bundle of cash and opt for the best steel axle pedal in the range. Ti axle pedals will require much more maintenance.

I use the entry level S-tracks....they are lighter than the Carbon version and cheaper, although the Ti version is lighter, I really am happy with the standard ones :)
