20" inner tubes work better for a 26'er Ghetto conversion.

 

Also used duct tape successfully.

 

yeah. 100%. Only ever used 20" (on my current rims) and also normal electrical tape with a normal tjoopless valve (on my old rims)

For 26 inch cut a 24 inch tube down the center, (butterfly it so to speak), use that as your tape and valve. Once the tire is inflated cut the excess tube off with a Stanley knife. For 29er use a 26 inch tube. Easy cheap and no k@k with valves.

 

Tube and valve cost R50 per wheel.
