The last bit through the vineyards I almost had a baby, was so in my mo#r in at that point, and the sand, omg, I just about had it at that point. Will be back next year... Smurfy Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 Last year’s driver was not available and we had n new guy on the truck. The truck arrived a bit late for me to go and show him how to do it. He got it right on the 40km . I am also disappointed because I needed a perfect photo for the sponsors where the truck and riders are together.Use last years foto. I`m in it. .Missed the Landy in the dam this year.

Jorrie Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Thanks. 4.26 last year. 4.58 this year on a single speed. Not too bad. Had a technical around the half way mark which cost me about 5 minutes. No one waited for me but I managed to catch them all up and pass them again.Think I met you Jorrie somewhere on the way. I remember a chat while I was doing a cadence of about 120!! Brilliant race but if you could do something about that sand that would be nice. Didn't really bother me though. Jip it was me, jislaaik Greg you're a machine with that ss, well done for the sub 5, think the organisers must bring in a ss category for next year, my money's on you! Smurfy 1
