Hi Hubbers,

just did Houw Hoek which was great just looking for some feedback on Greyton.

Is it easier or harder?

relaxed?

family friendly?

single track?

Thinking of taking the whole family for the weekend and riding in the mornings

Thanks

Apart from the Houw Hoek and Greyton events, there is Leeuwenbosch as well in December. All of them are non-timing multi-day events.

And yes, I also like the non-competitive relaxing nature of these events. And they are much cheaper then the timed events. You must just pay for your own accommodation (if you need it).

Know of any others?

Wepat I would give Glenda a call and chat about it, it does seem there are non technical route options. I have friends with a house in Greyton so this one is definitely in my calendar, i enjoyed houw hoek but it needs more climbing.

If you look at mtb-adventures.co.za website, the guys who bring you Houwhoek and Greyton Tours, you will see that they also have the Cape Country Tour end of June.

Read riders' feedback on that Tour if you want to have the ultimate WOW experience.

Johan Kriegler was also punting it at his briefing before the HHTour.
