Hi, I am buildingup a road wheel and need some expert advice on what a good hub one can use for a deep section wheel. I think the criteria should be based on cost, part availability, service agent backup and maybe there are a few more that you can alert me of.

I mentioned Novatec and Powerway but if there are any other good, reputable, relaible hubs that i need to be made aware of then please provide detail on these.

I was looking a the superlight Novatec hub vs the R13 Powerway models.i know there are different models in these respective brands.Once again i request guidance and recomendations from the experienced cyclists out there.

I hope you guys can oblige....

A similar thread, albeit a short one:

Both brands will likely tick all your boxes and I doubt there'll be much to pick between the two.

Common hubs on eastern wheels along with Bitex.

American Classic may be another option worth considering.

Unless of course you looking to throw some serious money at the wheels ... then look at Tune or Chris King perhaps.

Personally, I would stick with Novatech over Powerway. They are far more common and more likely to have a local agent and spares backup, although I could be mistaken.
