@bridgeCPT: Interesting choice of machinery for Belgian Mathias Smet ... Fat tackies with internal gearing (in his rear hub)

Wrong name that bike is mine and my Name is not Mathias.

i believe Nathrix it was you that was once amased that I wanted to do to Hell and Back on Green slicks long ago.

I wonder what type of tube he is going to use for the tyre wall cut that is imminent in the klein karoo ? He needs at least half a bottle of stans in there if it is tubeless ! Maybe he surprizes us all?

Mix of sludge and natural latex a good 100ml of each for each tyre. It survived tests well lets hope it holds.

Not Mathias, i think to Nathrix defence he was commenting off the Bridge tweet stream.

Nice bike btw, any more details on the build? Have you got spare tjoeps?

the bike is 16,5 kg without bottles no lightweight build its made to be durable. The name of The Crazy German is a well kept secret on the Hub sadly.

I have been sick for the last two days so there won't be much high speed progress to follow i am afraid.

Its all a customs build still have to pack so sadl not too much time to elaborate. Its still very new su the Rohloff gear hub has not been ridden in yet. I just do Pioneer for scenery and to see some old mates.

I have tubes I carry a 600gram one and a 250 gram lightweight one its most likely a waste of my energy to carry those. But reseating that tubeless setup can't be done on the trail. But as I am only cruizing weight is not that much of an issue.
