Here's my dilema. I just got a SRAM BB30 crankset with SRAM PF30 BB. The BB seems too large by about 1/2 mm on both sides so does not pressfit into the frame. and the bearing set seems the right size.

On the actual frame there seems to be a space for a circlip , and then the bearing which would fit perfectly after this. Am i missing something or do you get BB30 frames which just fit the bearing pressed into it??

PF30 has an ID of 46mm if I remember correct.

BB30 has an ID of 41mm if I remember correct.

PF30 takes up space for the bearing housing - thus the larger diameter.

In BB30 the bearings fit straight into the frame and held in place with the circlip.

Ja jsut discovered that the crankset lenth is different as well. Seem to have a crankset thatneeds an extra spacer of around 5/8mm on the non drive side as well. This is getting complicated. I see SRAMsells a spacer kit for BB30 as well.
