PdS early August: tools and parts offer for you Saffers

So I'm joining the PdS trip during the first 2 weeks of August (2nd - 16th). I'll be travelling down from Munich to Les Gets by car, and I'll have the basic tools with me: allen key set, torx, torque wrench, shock pump, spoke wrench, BB tool etc. If there is anything specific you need, just ask. If I have it and it fits, I'll bring it along.

Here though is my good guy offer for you guys:

I'll be doing orders from bike-mailorder.de and bike-components.de before the trip, maybe 26bikes.com as well. If you need small stuff that you can't find locally, let me know. SMALL things like brake pads, levers, drop outs, goggle lenses, grips, headsets, maybe even pedals and handlebars. I wont have space for frames, forks, wheelsets, shoes, helmets or anything big like that.

If you ask me to order something for you, I'll need a link to the exact item. I will pay for it in advance, but you will pay me for the item, in cash, or else I'll loosen your front wheel or something.

Disclaimer:

If you order the wrong thing, you're stuck with it. I don't care.

Dates may change, since I'm still waiting on confirmation of my chalet.

By 'cash', I mean 'Euro'. None of that monopoly money you guys use down there.

That's a really nice generous offer.

bike-components.de is a great shop with an excellent range and pricing - I recently ordered some stuff from them and including some schwalbe super gravity tyres - all in cost under R600 including shipping and vat.

They even threw in a can of red bull. Not that I drink the stuff. I'd probably rather drink the shimano mineral oil that came with than that stuff.

Speaking of which - if anyone (in joburg probably) wants to do a shimano brake bleed beforehand let me know. I ordered a 1l bottle - which is probably more than i'll need for the rest of my life.

That's because I haven't mentioned that I expect to not pay for my own beer during those 2 weeks.

PAH! Too easy.

Feed you 6 Mutzigs on night one

Film the resulting carnage.

Firstly you'll be too terrified to drink for the rest of the trip.

Secondly if you do get balshy your wife/girlfrined/gay lover gets the video.

Either way: Mission accomplished!

Oi.

Just a heads up if you haven't already been invited. We're gonna have a saffer get together on the 7th of Aug. Either at Sherps or at our chalet. I'll just have to run it by the owner and other guests.
