App that could save cyclists lives

I Just saw this on kickstarter

It seems like it may have some potential. If it saves just 1 cyclists life, I guess it has accomplished something.

i will download and use the app, but dont know if it will work. Allot of the time i dont even hear my phone when ringing in the vehicle due to noise, music, gf . With all of that said, I think this is a good idee and a step into the right direction

It definitely has potential.

 

Not to give off a negative vibe, but i have thought of a few challenges (which i am sure he has already thought of)

- What about all the drivers without smartphones?

- not everyone leaves home with a fully charged battery

- thieves could use this app to let them know there is a nice bike on its way.

If it requires turning on by anyone who isn't directly involved in being run over (i.e. every car driver) then it ain't gonna work.

 

If it was part of the car and turned on automatically, maybe.

 

However, once the 1000'th cyclist/motorcyclist has gone past, I imagine most people would take an axe to it.
