Rooiwal Road race this Saturday, 12 July.

Distances:

85km, 52km, 26km

No pre–entries but enter on the morning of the race at the venue

Venue: Grootvlei Gereformeerde Kerk, Rooiwal

Not really fit so will use as training ride,just do not know if I want to pay to do training ride, so will see.

Decided to join in the end. We started at -2 degrees and after 6 weeks of no cycling early winter did not expect much but my training put in since June at least stay with front bunch and were able to assist in pacing the first break back. Felt my legs though in last 30 km as this was first time in 4 months I did 60 km on the bike. Looking forward to the spring after this one.

Pity so few people were brave enough. Always is good training and Centurion has this one running smooth by now. The drag from the stables always hurts.
